There are tea addicts and tea weirdos. As we belong to tea weirdos category, it took us quite some time to realize what we are doing might not be normal even to the other tea lovers. You don't really realize you are a weird tea addict until someone points it out. So, here it is, our list of 5 weird tea hobbies and tea-related things people collect.
Funny teapots
Not all teapots are nice. From cuckoo clocks to houses and trucks, only sky is the limit for novelty teapot makers. They are not really a tea ware of choice for throwing a fancy tea party, neither the best option for gong-fu tea brewing, but there are still people that collect them.
Used loose leaf tea
Although this one might seem utterly pointless, it's quite practical and environmental friendly. If you were wondering how one collects used loose leaf tea, here is an explanation. After steeping your leaves, let them completely dry, then put in a large container. This seemingly worthless hobby is not worthless at all. Firstly, it gives you a very good perspective how much tea you have drunk over the period of time. Plus, once you decide to throw away collected used loose leaf tea, you can use it for filling pillows, as a compost for your houseplants or for bathing.

Miniature teapots
If you ever searched teapots on eBay, you might be quite surprised to see a range of nice teapots for an incredibly low price. Only after you realize the price is actually matching the incredibly tiny size. True to their regular-sized and useful counterparts, this little teapots have no purpose at all - except serving as a display for doll house. And yet, there are still people that collect them.
Empty teabag wrappers
This might be the weirdest one on the list. What do you do with empty teabag wrappers? Unless they serve as a reminder of how many teabags one drank before switching to loose leaf tea, making your sorrowful from all the lost opportunities for a good cup, there is no much point in collecting them, and yet, people still do it.
Teabag labels
Some people actually collect teabag labels. If we think of them as tea stamps, it might look reasonable to make your own little book of all the tea you have ever drunk. In the old age, you might feel the urge to open a book, and with a smile on your face, remember the good tea times you had with your family and friends.
