What types of Japanese green teas have you tried so far?

    Hello. I am a big Japanese green tea lover. I tried almost all Japanese teas: sencha, kabusecha, gyokuro, kamairicha, tamaryokucha, kukicha, hojicha, genmaicha, bancha, matcha... Have you tried all of them?

    Michele, have you tried tencha? Matcha is made from tencha.

    No, I haven't. What's the taste like? I'll put it on my to-try list. I like both matcha and gyokuro a lot, they are my favorite Japanese teas. I've tried CTH's Imperial Gyokuro Genmaicha, really like it. Shaded teas are great.

    I prefer Chinese green tea. But the Japanese Matcha is really unique.
