Hello All, Just recently I have joined this website and I'm greatly excited. Too, only recently, have I become aware of the wonderful and different teas. As a man from the South, mainly I'm used to sweetened iced tea with lemon but am slowing being converted to appreciate a cup of hot tea. Just today, a friend send me the two teas I listed above: a yellow called, 'Badaling' (if that is the correct spelling), and,a black tea called, 'Lion's Mane'. I can find no information on these teas and might someone be so kind as to help me? I received some other teas with which I'm not familiar except the 'Margaret's Hope' but I won't bore you with them lest you ask. Thank you as I enjoy a cup of 'Formosa Gunpowder'. Next, I'll have a cup of the Oolong Monkey-picked. Again thank you, Leeflea. :)
Hey fellow Southerner! I also grew up in the South with my daily does of sweet tea. That has actually influenced a lot of our 'Dessert Tea' Collection. From what I know, there are two Lion's Mane teas. One is an herbal tea made from the Chinese Lion's Mane mushroom and is supposed to help build your immune system. The second, which I believe you are referring to, is a Kenyan black tea known as Lion's Mane due to its thin curly appearance.Badaling tea is a Chinese tea from the Yunnan province. I find Badaling Yellow tea similar, but slightly more earthy than Dragon Well green tea.I hope that helps!
