Did you know that there are natural solutions to serious sleeping disorders such as insomnia? Rooibos tea and chamomile teas help calm the nerves and can get you in a good tranquil vibe before bed. We also have concocted a delicious Sleepytime or Bedtime tea that we call Bedtime Chai that has valerian root and really helps put you to sleep and get a full nights rest. What other natural sleeping aides are out there?
From what I understand; mints, basils and thymes also help to relax you. I've put mints and basils in my teas and they taste good. Not sure how thyme would taste. I can vouch for the Bedtime Chai. It really works and I'm a chronic insomniac, so when I find something that works, I use it!
Hi there!@Will: yep I heard valerian tea have been long used to treat insomnia for many years.Just a bit curious, do you guys know what's in the valerian root that does the magic? ;)Be doing a little research here and I'll keep you posted with whatever I find. B)
I have not heard about treatment of insomnia from tea. I think this information will be very useful me. I'm a caffeine addict. I wish one day I would be able to leave drinking so much of coffee.
